BAT CHOIR is an experimental project/practice in which groups of people use voices and objects to echolocate, exploring different architectures through noisy and attentive listening. BAT CHOIR welcomes and absorbs different publics in varying situations, starting from the premise that everyone who can speak can sing, and everyone who can hear or feel can echolocate.
Bat Choir cauldrons to date have taken place at Latitude Festival, Hypha Studios London, Bloomsbury Studio Theatre, the Grant Museum of Zoology, Jesus Green Cambridge, Princeton University, and Mildred's Lane.
Led by Hermione Spriggs, Harshadha Balasubramanian and Sarah Latto (Echo Vocal Ensemble).
