ALTHING (A Stone Is Both An Object And A Gathering)
An action in which I place myself in a bag labelled "rocks" and use hypnosis to transform myself into a rock. An adjacent bag is labelled "artist" and is filled with duck decoys. I remain a rock inside the rock bag until the audience unzip the bags and intervene.

The name ALTHING refers to the oldest site of democratic parliament, founded on a rocky outcrop north of Reykjavik.
